Are there sections of sidewalk in your neighborhood that are in need of repair?  If so, please report the address to MetroCall at 574-5000 or email them to glen.stuckel@louisvilleky.gov.  Once the sidewalk is reported, Metro Public Works will review the section in question and assign it a rating between one and five.  Those rated four or five are the primary focus for District 17 and Metro Public Works.  While other issues are taken into account, this rating typically requires a height difference of two inches or more.
