Louisville Metro Parks will hold a public meeting/open house on the design of the planned Middletown-Eastwood Trail (MET) portion of the Louisville Loop on Tuesday, May 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the Middletown Fire Department, 108 Urton Lane. This meeting will focus on the first segment of the MET shared-use path, which begins at Old Shelbyville Road and extends east to North English Station. The meeting will be primarily an open house, but will include a brief presentation at 6:30 p.m.
When completed, the MET shared-use path will provide a continuous and safe bicycle and pedestrian connection along one of the city's busiest streets from Middletown to Eastwood. For more information about the Louisville Loop and its related projects, please visit
